2 things to do to get where and what you want in life

Focus on Your Own Path I genuinely do not care what anyone else has. I am focused on my own thing. Maybe it is because I have a path. A direction. A clear idea of who I want to become and how I want things to play out. When you have that clarity, life feels simpler. Maybe not easier. But clearer. And clarity removes distraction. Be Happy for People. Then Move On. If my friend buys a new car, I call him and say congratulations. And after that call? I go right back to my work. Because I know where I am going. Be happy for others, but do not measure yourself by their timeline. You need to be you. Do you. Period. This Is For 20–28-year-olds Especially those just getting started. There is too much noise. Everyone is complaining about the government, lack of opportunity, the system. But here is the truth. While many complain, the top 1% are quietly using the same environment to their advantage. They understand something simple: The market is the market. Instead of c...

I choose to create value not a new product.

You Have More Opportunity Than Ever If there is one thing I could wish for you — more than my work ethic, more than my energy, more than my charisma — it would be my perspective. Friday nights were cheaper, so I stayed overnight. What was I searching for? Not money. I was searching fo...

Legacy Over Everything Life is a rollercoaster. One day, you are receiving an award. Another day, you are walking away from a company you helped build. That is life. Let me be honest with you. There is nothing I value more than my legacy. And to me, legacy is happiness. I cannot negotiate that. What I Truly Fear There is something I fear deeply. Not losing money. Not losing position. Not losing status. I fear what will be said about me when I am gone. I want it to be said that I innovated. That I did something different. That I contributed to the growth of Nigerians. That I helped move the gaming industry forward. That I added value to this economy. Nothing more. Sometimes I cannot sleep because I think about my contribution to the world. I just want to keep creating, innovating, doing good — and being happy in the process. That perspective makes everything else easier. The thought of losing money or position does not shake me. That is why I can walk away when i...
