I want to be happy, not cool

Listen, hustle nation.

If I could take the energy in my heart right now and inject it into your mind, you would understand one thing clearly:

Time is limited.

We do not have forever.

And despite the economic challenges and leadership issues in Nigeria, we still have opportunity. We still have access. We still have choice.

That is powerful.

What I have come to realize is simple.

All I want to do is be happy.

Not the version of happiness that looks good to other people. Not the version that earns applause. Just my version.

I leave money on the table every single day.

I turn down deals.
I walk away from offers.
I ignore opportunities that do not align with my happiness.

That is why I left the previous company I founded.
That is why I started a watch brand.

I understand not everyone can take those risks. And that is fine.

But this is my path.

Why I Move the Way I Move

Many of you watch from the outside and wonder how I make such bold decisions.

Leaving Bet9ja after more than five years.
Starting a company, building it, then walking away.
Launching Micserah.com, a luxury watch brand in a market where it had never been done before.

How do I decide?

The truth is simple.

I just do.

I follow my heart. I have done that since I was a child.

Over time, I developed a strong intuition. That intuition is built on experience. Years in business. Years in leadership. Years of making both good and bad decisions.

I make quick decisions because I trust my judgment.

And at the center of everything is one goal.

Happiness.

I Am Not Trying to Impress Anyone

I am not buying cars to impress you.

I am not buying clothes to show off online.

I am not building companies so people can call me successful.

I am building a life that feels right to me.

The lack of fear of failure allows me to move fast.

Many people delay decisions because they are afraid to lose.

I make decisions because I want to see what happens.

If it works, great.
If it fails, I learn and adjust.

The one outcome I truly fear is indecision.

When you do not decide, you lose every upside before you even begin.

One Life. One Shot.

I am begging you today.

Follow your heart.

Do the right thing.

Sharpen your skills.

Take responsibility.

Stop complaining about the system, the government, the market, and the weather.

You have one life.

And you are in control of more than you think.

I operate on offence. I am not reacting to people’s opinions. I reverse engineer my own desires and build toward them.

It may not sound cool.

But I am genuinely happy.

And that is enough.
