I'm Grateful for 2018 and excited about 2019

As I look back on my journey, especially 2018, I can confidently say it was one of the most defining years of my life.

Not just as a businessman.
But as a person.

To me, life is simple.

There are things I can control and things I cannot. Everything ultimately comes down to my actions and my mindset. I have refused to be distracted by noise. There were moments of setback. There were moments where I paused and thought, "Wow, I can't believe I did this."

Through it all, I remain grateful.

Grateful to the people who supported me at home and abroad. Grateful for the belief others had in me, even during uncertain moments.

When some people expected me to stay down after leaving BetKing, that was exactly when I stood up and rebuilt.

Growth Beyond Opinions

In 2018, I travelled across the world. I spoke at gaming conferences in Lagos, South Africa, and Malta. I visited Cyprus and London. I even found time to go on holiday toBenic.

I also founded Nigeria's first luxury watch brand, Micserah.

Why didn't I let opinions weigh me down?

Because I understand something simple:

Opinions do not build your life. Actions do.

There's a saying I believe in deeply:
When you can't play on the field, you tend to boo from the stands.

I refuse to measure happiness by position, titles, or the amount in my bank account, even though I am grateful to be doing well.

My fulfilment comes from building, creating, and executing.

Fired Up for the Next Chapter

II'mstepping into the new year with energy and intention.

Major announcements are coming for both 9jawin and Micserah.

Here are a few highlights:

9jawin

There is a lot in motion within the gaming industry. What we are building will disrupt the space again.

We slightly delayed the launch of 9jawin to implement key improvements to the software. The response so far has been incredibly inspiring. Calls, emails, sign-ups.

We currently have over 2,000 agents waiting for launch.

Competition is healthy. Companies without long-term strategies should start preparing.

The game is evolving.

Micserah

Micserah is growing steadily, and I am proud of the team's work in content creation and distribution.

We built a strong digital engine around the brand. A machine that consistently produces high-quality video and image content for social platforms.

Interestingly, this capability led to something new.

We began receiving requests from small- and medium-sized businesses seeking help with content creation and distribution.

So we launched a social media agency that now supports both our businesses and other SMEs.

What have I learned?

Kindness is strength in business and in life.

ICE London

In February, I will be heading to London for the ICE Gaming Conference.

I will be speaking at two roundtable discussions on:

Trust is a two-way street: Preventing fraud while optimising the consumer experience
Replacing sports sponsorship: How reputational issues affect the sports and gambling relationship

These conversations are shaping the future of our industry.

And I am excited to be part of them.

A Personal Note

If I have brought value to you in any way, it would mean a lot if you supported my watch brand, Micserah, especially if you are in the market for a new timepiece.

It has been a lifelong dream to build this company.

Thank you for being part of the journey.

Wishing you tremendous happiness, growth, and good health.
