Many people underestimate the power of giving without expecting anything in return.
It is a superpower.
And I am honestly amazed at how much people miss out on because they do not understand how to use it.
Before I go deeper, let me create some clarity. Giving without expectation does not mean being naive. It means genuinely helping others without attaching immediate demands.
When you give freely, good things happen. Not always immediately. Not always directly. But they happen.
This principle applies everywhere.
In relationships.
In family.
In your job.
In business.
In philanthropy.
It means going out of your way to sincerely help someone.
Karma Is Practical
I have used this approach my entire life, in business and in relationships.
It works.
In an era where most people ask, "What's in it for me?" before doing anything, choose a different path.
Give more than you ask for.
Real Examples
Imagine this.
A brand influencer offers to promote a company for free the first time, not out of desperation but as proof of value, trusting that future collaborations will come.
A graphic designer sends thoughtful feedback to a brand about improving their logo or website and offers guidelines without demanding a contract immediately.
A graduate studies a company's needs and proposes solutions before even being hired.
This approach builds trust. It builds goodwill. It builds a reputation.
How I Applied It
I used this strategy to secure my first job.
When I founded Micserah, we created how-to videos teaching people how to care for their watches. It did not matter whether the watch was Micserah or another brand. We just wanted people to take care of their timepieces.
Why?
Because value builds memory.
When someone is ready to buy a new watch, they remember the brand that helped them.
When I started in the sports betting space, I held weekly seminars for aspiring agents, even if they were not joining my company. The goal was simple. Help them become better business people.
One day, when they consider switching companies, or when a friend wants to open a shop, my name comes up.
That is how reputation compounds.
Giving Must Be Genuine
Giving is powerful, but it only works if it is genuine.
If you give with hidden manipulation, people feel it.
But if you give because it aligns with who you are, something powerful happens. Your name becomes associated with value.
That is long-term branding.
That is influence.
That is legacy.
Why I Am Writing This
Even this article follows the same philosophy.
I am sharing these thoughts in the hope that they shift your mindset. Not because I expect anything from you.
But maybe one day, years from now, at a breakfast table somewhere, my name comes up as someone who gave more than he asked for.
That would be enough.
Give freely.
Build reputation.
Trust the process.
Wishing you happiness and good health.
Thank you for your time.
